The Greater New Orleans Surgery Center specifically designed for surgeons desiring more control and influence over their outpatient operating environment. The Greater New Orleans Surgery Center opened in 1989. The facility is a 6,425 square foot Ambulatory Surgery Center located in a 3 story free standing buliding with 3,575 square feet shelled in for expansion. It's Medicare certified and AAAHC accredited. The center is contracted with most of the area's major health insurers.
The center is equipped with two surgical suites and one procedure/exam room. The Greater New Orleans Surgery Center will perform surgeries and procedures in the following specialties:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Otolaryngology
- Pain Management
- Podiatry
- Plastic Surgery
- Urology
