Welcome to Greater New Orleans Surgery Center - an outpatient surgical center conveniently located in the heart of the Metairie medical district.  Our facility has been open since 1989 and under the current ownership since 2001.  Greater New Orleans Surgery Center is owned by a group of local surgeons and Symbion, Inc. in Nashville, TN.  It was developed to provide state of the art outpatient surgical services for the residents of New Orleans and surrounding areas.  We are licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.
